Between 1924 and 197 8 Stangl Pottery produced a great assortment of earthenware lamps, artware, dinnerware, and utilitarian lines. It was Stangl's dinnerware, however, that was manufactured in the greatest quantities. Stangl's hand-carved, hand-painted fruit and floral decorated dinnerware patterns were renowned. Martin Stangl was quite innovative and influential in directing the course of the American ceramics industry.
