ANTIQUE BLACK FOREST CARVED BEAR HALL TREE/STAND 1880-1910.19th Century, finely carved carved black forest tree hall stand, with a large bear standing open mouthed holding a tree and watching the bear cub climbing above. The top of the tree has branches for hanging. All stood on a naturalistic base with a further loop branch above to hold umbrellas and walking sticks. Superb colour and patina.There are some nicks and scratches, there is a little separation in the "loop" in the front, the top piece is not a tight fit and has some play in it.These sell anywhere you find them online from $4000 to $24,000 each.
