ca.1925 Quimper "Broderie" Breton Porringer & Saucer These Superb French Faience Porringer & Saucer were made in Quimper by the HB Factory ca.1925 .Lovely Petit Breton in his Typical Costume & Hat, holding his Cane and walking in the Fields between Bushes . Gorgeous Raised Broderie Decor on the Borders and Handles . The Broderie Decor, introduced by HB during the Art Deco Period, was meant to replicate the Magnificent Embroideries found on the Bretons Typical Costumes . The Elegant Shape, the Charming Glaze Skips and the Bright Colors add even more to the Beauty of this Rare Piece . Porringer Length 5 3/4", Top diameter 3 1/2", Height 2 1/8", Saucer diameter 6", Saucer Height 3/4" .
