BEAUTIFUL EMPIRE REVIVAL MAHOGANY DINING TABLE Please view our beautiful late Empire Revival, circa 4th Quarter 19th Century Mahogany Dining/Banquet Table This is a most functional 54 inch round table that comes with five 15 inch skirted leaves with matching gadrooned edge. It can be displayed with no leaves installed or any amount from one to five. It opens and closes smoothly to accept the leaves and it is supported by casters under each foot and the center leg. This table is very sturdy as it has a double bar attachment on each pedestal. The twin acanthus carved posts above the plinth, the huge paw feet, the beautifully gadrooned edge and highly carved center leg add much beauty, but are very functional in the support and intergrity of this table. The double bar support system was made to fit this table and the larger 60 inch table that are both standard sizes with most makers. This table has been professionally restored, the leaves all fit very well and as mentioned it is a very sturdy table. We feel the finish is recent and we have detected a few minor cloudy areas. Taking pictures out side the photos do not display these minor distractions. We have priced the table accordingly as in our opinion it is 99%. No scratches or dings to report.
