Up for auction is a combination of Marx Toy eras. This combination makes a GREAT display for hand painted Disneykins.This auction includes the Vintage Marx Disneykin Series 1 Complete Set of 34 Characters. These hand painted character figures are from the First Disneykin Series that sold in 1961. It also includes the Television Playhouse Stage that sold in 1953 and only consists of (2) metal pieces from that set but they are the main parts that contain all of the graphics.The Television Playhouse was sold with figures (not included with this auction) that were made of soft one color plastic. They were not painted like the Disneykins released in 1961. Disneykins you can say are the colorful descendants of those characters and are included in this auction.These fragile characters are hard to find in good condition. For being 55 years old these figures are in good shape. Some still have the foil sticker. Some have minor paint wear or glue residue on the bottom of the figures from being part of a display. The Television Playhouse stage is 63 years old.
