From the Walt Disney Classics Collection Pinocchio, Geppetto's Workbench titled "The Finishing Touch". This is a truly wonderful figurine with many delightful details that are distinctly Disney. This is a Numbered Limited Edition Number 856 of 1000. This item has no chips, scratches, cracks or crazing. The original box and packing materials are in excellent to new condition. The Certificate of Authenticity is included. This figurine features Geppetto, Cleo, Figaro, Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket. This is the third sculpture in the Signature Series that features the rarely portrayed Pinocchio as a marionette, before he has been brought to life by the Blue Fairy. The moment was selected by Roy E. Disney. Roy's personal connection with Pinocchio is rooted in an unforgettable performance of the story by Uncle Walt when young Roy was sick in bed. An extremely special and personal piece, this item is limited to an edition of only 1000 pieces. Walt Disney Classics Collection Figurines are created through the collaborative efforts of the animators and other artists of The Walt Disney Studios, using the same principles applied to classic Disney animation.
